Marty Edwards / CGO
Marty Edwards founded White Hawk Group in 1999. This Oklahoma-based general contracting firm qualified for nine years of participation in the SBA 8(a) business development program. The construction side of those operations closed in 2017.
White Hawk Construction had acquired contracts exceeding $ 200 million over those eighteen years of operation. A primary customer was the Army Corps of Engineers.
White Hawk Engineering, a civil engineering and survey services provider, was founded in 2010. Marty Edwards retains ownership but is no longer involved in the daily operations.
Marty Edwards obtained a degree in marketing from Oklahoma Christian University.
Yakoke Consulting, Marty Edwards newest venture, was founded on his passion to help other small, minority and woman owned firms. His story is a testimony to the power of unleashing gratitude in your personal and professional life. That is why Marty Edwards has designated himself as Yakoke’s CGO (Chief Gratitude Officer).
Directors of First Impressions
The Choctaw word for daughters is iso tek (ee-so-teak). Marty Edwards has three iso tek and they are all very accomplished young women. They each have their own professional pursuits and businesses but they support Yakoke Consulting as they lead training seminars designed for women in the workplace.
